Welcome to us at Partille Gymnasium! Here we have the privilege of offering nationally approved sports programs (NIU) in handball, bowling, and football. NIU is aimed at young people who want to focus on sports while combining it with studies. NIU can be combined with the following programs:

• Construction and Civil Engineering Program
• Electrical and Energy Program
• Vehicle and Transport Program
• Natural Science Program
• Social Science Program

The sports at NIU take place in close collaboration between Partille Gymnasium and sports federations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Now you have the chance to train and coach young people in what you are both passionate about - handball! The students' goal is to reach elite level, and you now have a unique opportunity to influence their chances of getting there.

As a sports instructor, you will train the young people in handball, focusing on both technique and physical fitness. You will be based at Partille Arena and the gym facility Improve Health. We collaborate with IK-Sävehof, and much of the activities are planned together with the club. In addition to training the young people, you will coach them in mental health to strengthen their mental attitude. The assignment also involves actively working to create safety and camaraderie, the foundation for growing into an elite player.

The position is permanent with a 75% employment rate.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience as a handball player at an elite level and who is passionate about helping young people develop as players and good citizens.

It is important that you are a person who:

• Is clear in your leadership, motivating and creating conditions for students to reach their goals.
• Works focused to find solutions to situations and challenges that arise.
• Has a holistic view in your assignment, overseeing and placing your own area of responsibility in a larger context.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
